Published by the Câmara Municipal de Lisboa in 1945, this copy is especially desirable as number 4 of only 200 copies, numbered and rubricated by the author, Ferreira de Andrade. It is further distinguished by a warm presentation inscription from Andrade to Luís Pastor de Macedo, an important Lisbon historian and olisipógrafo, praising him as “one of the strongest figures in Portuguese historiography.” A fine association copy of a scarce Lisbon historical work, linking two notable figures in Portuguese local and municipal history.
